Taj Mahal Mosque

Mosque is situated at the western side of the Taj Mahal and prepared from red sandstone. It is used for prayer purposes and the mosque faces the path of the sacred city of Mecca. The edge near the well of the Taj Mahal mosque has a small stone corral. It is housed the residue of Mumtaz Mahal prior to they were interned in the tomb. Decorated with pietra dura on the outside, the mosque in Taj Mahal of Agra, boasts of 4 octagonal towers and 3 elegant domes.

The interiors of the mosque are adorned with fragile calligraphy citing the name Allah and quotations from scriptures pleasing to the eye, the previously present splendor of the Taj Mahal. Mosque consists of red stone serves two purposes, first, it was requisite according to the Muslim law for each crypt to have a place of devotion nearby; second, the mosque and a mirror reflection of the mosque, a guest house that stands on the reverse side of it, together afford a perfect symmetrical steadiness to the design of whole of Taj Mahal.

The base is made of that's materials which is very fine and gleaming and appears velvet red in shadow. For that purpose 539 prayer carpets have been trimly marked out with black marble. The top limit is painted in an extraordinary, soothing design. The roof consists of four octagonal towers and three elegant domes. Both sides of mosque, north and south, and locate along and upon the corral wall, there are two towers.
